Given the evolution of personal blogging in most countries of the world was the Sultanate of Oman has a large share of them, as the number of personal blogs. The best example of the use of blogs in the Sultan Qaboos University is department of Instructional and Learning Technology.

Electronic Lesson

o The purpose of my project was to provide the IT teachers with Electronic Lesson Plans & Activities solutions of Information Technology Curriculum (units that covered in grade 8). This project developed by following dick & cery model.

o In fact, these plans are very important to IT teachers. This is because of the Ministry of Education plan to replace the traditional learning with electronic learning. In addition, that will apply in the way of planning and activities. Also, the Ministry determine new way of lesson plan must be follow. Thus, my project aims to provide the IT teachers with examples of these plans and solution of books activates. I believe that these plans cannot be as a model in a preparing study but I hope be as standard and resources to IT teachers who want to operate learning process effectively.

My Reading is My Life

Reading is the cornerstone of knowledge and knowledge is the power of any developed country.
The habit of reading changed dramatically throughout the last century. Now reading is not just books and the new technology helps knowledge to be available everywhere anytime. But I have notice that the fact that knowledge is now easy to be searched using the internet have lead people to be more lazy not to read daily and sufficiently. Now lots of people around the word stopped reading books and so knowledge become more and more superficial and shallow. I looked around me, noticing family, friends, collogues and students and I realize that we need to give more care to what we read and we have to read more and more. I mean the organized reading which will help us having a powerful applicable knowledge. So I started to think of establishing a website about reading to involve the community around me.

LEARN JIBBALIA LANGUAGE

How many languages are in the world? How many of them are in danger? And what is the importance of them in human beings' life?
Jibbalia is one of these languages that are in danger of extinction. There is a necessary need to save it because it carries a great deal of literature and culture of Jibbalian people. This project will introduce Jibbalia and teach it to other people by using website and forum to provide jibbalia lessons to others to learn this language to keep it from extinction.

1st & 2nd Basic Education Classes IT E-curriculum

When the Omani government first decided to introduce the new schooling system known as “Basic Education”, it was realized that this change will bring about many other changes along with it. Therefore, the Omani Ministry of Education considered all aspect and factors that would make the new trend a success. Many changes have been made in schools before the adoption of this system. These changes tackled all domains of the school including the instructional methods and even the structure of the school building. The ministry invested a lot of effort and money for this purpose. Many curriculums had been added for examples Information Technology. Students should have the basic computer skills because nowadays it is becoming very important subject in all approaches. So I have chosen this project title.

ILT Course Catalog

Course catalog is Academic courses that have a listing of academic courses, policies and related information such as: Michigan State University catalog. Of course, Students must consult their advisors to learn which specific requirements apply to their degree programs. As we know that, Sultan Qaboos University has Academic Information which has Courses Description for all courses in all colleges but in very general way. This project will create an electronic catalog for ILT department & its courses. Moreover, this project will include GPA calculator. As we know a transcript is an official copy of a student's academic record). Also, this project will include a forum that allows learners to participate and share opinions with each other.

English language is the national language in the world. The propose of my project is to facilitate evaluation process. It is about online tests for each unit of grade 9.
I choice this subject because online tests promote self-evaluation and reflective thinking. By other words ,students can evaluate themselves and parents have chance to know what their children's level. On the other sides ,teachers can saves a time and prevents cheese between students and it is more fast and easy from paper tests. Moreover ,online test has many advantages like:
